Residential Solar

ABOUT RESIDENTIAL SOLAR

We empower homeowners to take control of their energy bills with the installation of a residential solar panel system with battery storage options available. Our team will help you through the process of understanding your home’s energy usage and the amount of solar panels that would be right for your family’s consumption patterns.

How it Works

Solar panels harness the power of the sun.

The sun’s rays or photons travel to Earth (93 million miles), where they are captured by the photovoltaic cells in the solar panels on your roof, carport, or the ground. That energy is collected as a direct current (DC) within the cells of the panels. An inverter then converts that power into usable alternating current (AC). Once that process has occurred, the energy can be used by your home or sent back to the grid. Depending upon your area, the energy that flows back to the grid can collect credits (net metering).

Solar-Roof Combination

If your home has been disqualified from installing solar due to the condition of your roof, talk to our team today about how we can combine both installing a new roof and your solar panels.

The benefits of considering a roof plus a solar energy system installation include: extending the lifetime of the portion of the roof covered by the panels, qualifying for federal tax incentives that will provide a new roof and solar at the same time, and our team can work directly with a roofing contractor to make your roofing installation and solar installation seamless and easy.
